Gather Groups
Gather Groups meet at the church, online, and in homes throughout Massillon. They combine the structure of Sunday School with the comfort of smaller, more personal settings.
We are created for community, made in God’s likeness to live in relationship. Jesus modeled this by calling a small group of disciples to walk closely with Him, showing that deep transformation happens in close-knit fellowship (Mark 3:7-14).
Community is central to Christ’s mission. Jesus prayed that we would be one, reflecting the unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 17:11, 21). Our unity is a powerful witness of God’s love. Gather Groups at First Baptist help us grow in faith and live out this calling through authentic connection.
Calling All Daughters
Calling All Daughters is a women’s Bible study where we gather to grow in God’s Word, encourage one another, and deepen our faith together. Whether you’re new to Bible study or have been walking with Christ for years, you’ll find a welcoming place to learn, ask questions, and build meaningful friendships.
The group meets Tuesdays at 10:00 AM and is currently journeying through Hinds’ Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard. Together, we’re exploring the lessons found throughout Much-Afraid’s journey and connecting them with Scripture and our own walks with God.
Through reading, discussion, prayer, and fellowship, Calling All Daughters is a place to encourage one another through every season of life as we grow closer to Christ and learn to trust Him wherever He leads. Each week is an opportunity to grow together, share what God is teaching us, and strengthen our faith as we walk alongside one another. Come as you are and join us as we continue this journey together.
Fantasy Football kicks off in September and meets Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM in the Carriage House. Whether you’ve been playing fantasy football for years or have never set a lineup before, you’re welcome to join us for a season of friendly competition, football, and fellowship.
Each week, we’ll get together to talk matchups, compare teams, celebrate the wins, and question a few lineup decisions along the way. You don’t have to be a football expert. Just come ready to have some fun and enjoy the season with others.
More than the competition, Fantasy Football is a great opportunity to build friendships and connect outside of Sunday mornings. Come join us and see who has what it takes to finish the season on top!
Fantasy Football
Revelation Group
Revelation Group meets Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall for a journey through the Book of Revelation. Together, we explore its imagery, messages, and promises while discovering what this powerful book teaches us about God, His plan, and our faith today.
Whether Revelation is familiar to you or you’ve always found it difficult to understand, this group is a place to learn, ask questions, and study alongside others. Each week, we walk through Scripture, discuss challenging passages, and explore themes of faithfulness, perseverance, hope, and the ultimate victory of Christ.
Come with your Bible, bring your questions, and join us as we grow in our understanding of God’s Word together.
Men’s Breakfast is. thethird Saturday of the month at 8:30 AM and is a great opportunity for the men of our church and community to gather for good food, conversation, and fellowship. Whether you’ve been part of the church for years or are looking for a place to get connected, you’re invited to pull up a chair and join us.
Each month gives us a chance to slow down, catch up, encourage one another, and build stronger friendships. It’s a relaxed environment where men can connect, share life, and grow together.
Come hungry, bring a friend, and enjoy a morning of breakfast and fellowship with a great group of guys.

Judson Class meets Sunday mornings at 8:45 AM in the Carriage House for a time of Bible study, conversation, and fellowship before worship. It’s a welcoming place to spend time in God’s Word and connect with others as you begin your Sunday morning.
Each week, the class explores Scripture together, shares thoughts and questions, and considers how biblical truth applies to everyday life. Whether you’ve studied the Bible for years or simply want to learn more, there’s a place for you in the conversation.
