Jonah
Jonah is one of the most well-known stories in the Bible, and one of the most misunderstood. Most people know him as the prophet swallowed by a great fish, but his story reveals much more. Jonah resisted God’s call, ran from his mission, and hated the very people he was sent to reach. Yet Jesus drew direct connections between himself and Jonah, showing us how this reluctant prophet points to the gospel.
